Only worth it if it’s a second vehicle. I just sold my Camaro, not for a profit, but for probaby $10k more than I could get in a ‘normal’ year.  Original plan was to put that money into a new daily driver.. except what I want (ZR2) is now 5-10k more also.  So it ends up being a wash anyways.  My current daily is still

I have a pair of secondary cats from my Camaro.. sold the car so now they’re just sitting around.  Can’t really try to sell them without looking like a thief.  Maybe the fact that they were at least unbolted at the front instead of being cut on both ends will help.

My Xterra is lifted and stays parked in the driveway, but the primary and secondary cats come right off the header, and are tucked up quite a bit above the frame rails. Add some skid plates and there’s just no way to quickly shove a sawzall in there.

So you don’t have to start vaping

Neutral: A week straight of mid to upper 90's here in MN and I’m ready for winter again. Not looking forward to the electric bill after running AC pretty much nonstop.

Exactly. The amount of potential energy stored in a 55l tank @ 6000 PSI is enormous. Just be grateful that if anything should happen you’d likely be turned into a pink mist before your brain has a chance to register any pain.

Same here in MN. Traffic (at least for the 5pm rush hour) is almost back to pre-pandemic levels and that means actually having to slow down on the highway, but there’s a group that’s still trying to go as fast as possible and doing it very aggressively.

So, they picked the car up Monday and the money was in my bank account Wednesday with a fedex tracked check going to my lender to pay off the loan. Pretty sure the money got to me before they ever actually saw the car in person.

The only tough thing with them was scheduling the actual pickup, I think Vroom needs to vet them a little better. Transport company scheduled the pickup without actually talking to me, and was being very difficult about setting a date that worked for me. I called Vroom to let them know, and they got it fixed right

Vroom offered 41.3k for my Camaro.  As it’s just a second / toy car, it was a pretty easy decision to take the money and run.

I keep track of the mileage per tank I get out of my daily driver Xterra, mainly because it can be an indicator of something going wrong if it drops suddenly. I do tend to ‘hypermile’ on highway trips, because mpgs drop like a brick at 70+ mph.

Yet, the amount of people I see on the road holding a phone up to their head in a car that clearly has bluetooth capability is staggering.

I’m in about the same boat. Purchased an RX580 GTS 8gb in 2019 for $180. They’re going for anywhere from $400-800 on eBay right now. Really tempted to sell as I just don’t game on the PC much.

Give that strap a couple of twists and it won’t buzz anymore.  Same reason most whip antennas have a spiral shape to them.

Does it really matter when half your track session will be spent waiting for the batteries to cool down?

Both my air and cordless impacts allow you to limit the tightening torque, so I just put them on the lowest setting and finish up with the torque wrench.

The majority of my off roading has been done alone.  Of course, it’s also been done in a vehicle that still has more sheet metal than rust.

I had no idea about Carhenge, stumbled across it while driving the backroads through Nebraska and saw signs for it.  Glad I stopped.

I think Imogene is better

How does it not have something as simple as a seat pressure sensor?  Hell, my 11 year old Xterra can tell when my 55lb dog is in the passenger seat.
