I guess I haven’t paid a ton of attention to the Volt - what’s wrong with the chassis and the form factor?

I always felt the Volt was the perfect setup - enough capacity to run electric for commuting / running errands around town, but no range anxiety or waiting to recharge for long trips.

Right now I’d have to say it’s the double jump -> wings move of the demon hunter I’m leveling in WoW.

I think the biggest mistakes they made was keeping with the ‘golf bags must fit in the trunk’ rule which made the back end too bulbous, and atrocious wheel fitment / design.

Eneloop batteries, the ones typically recommended for rechargeable, are good for 2100 charge cycles. In my experience (although not a heavy gamer) they’ll last for at least a week of use. Both my vehicles are throttle by wire. Xterra is an auto and yes, it does the ‘get to the highest gear as soon as possible’ thing that can be annoying. Cramro is a stick and, in normal driving situations, feels just like it has a cable. Get the TC to kick on and of course it’ll modulate the throttle a bit on it’s own.…

~200k on my 2010 Xterra. Bought in 2013 with 87k miles. Engine has been pretty rock solid, although overdue for a spark plug change right now. Trans was acting up a bit last year, but I flushed it a few times and hasn’t been too bad lately. Replaced most of the suspension components between 120-140k miles. Still runs…

I understand that, and drive accordingly.  That being said, they’ve done better than I expected even in ice / slick conditions.  

From MN, and no.  The Xterra daily driver has BFG KO2's which are actually pretty damn good in the snow.  The Cramro stays in the garage.
