That was only one of the reasons I chose to move away from PE. I enjoyed the text expansion, and PE is by far the best text expander I've used, but it didn't allow for some of the other features I'm now enjoying with AutoHotkey. I would still - and do still - recommend your software to more casual users, it just

Confirmed. I've had similar trouble with PhraseExpress - particularly with it causing "trouble" when the program was disabled.

"We had kind of a conundrum in that The Avengers opens up this huge skyhole full of inter-dimensional aliens, and you kind of look back and [think], 'Well, what do you do after that?' "

I didn't see that article, but have been doing something similar for a while. I use a basic password formula of {Service Name}{special character}{mix of numbers and mixed caps words}{optional special character}

Are you certain it's in Safe mode? I had this happen with my Samsung phone, turned out it was a conflict between the launcher I was using and the new ICS update I'd installed. FWIW I was using GoLauncher and all of my widgets just stopped updating. I'm now using Apex and everything works just fine.

Any word if those "newer" films included new releases? That would be a deal breaker for me!

Seconded! I was about to make the same comment, especially if Redbox offers newer titles. This would supplant my Vudu and Amazon on demand viewing, too.

I, too, wonder these questions, though I didn't know it until Lambda here brought them up. I'm particularly interested in that last one.

+1 internet to you.

I could accept librarian, but would suggest "news stand operator" as a better analogy. In this either case, Google should have no liability for the contents of the materials it sells, just as a news stand operator has no liability for the libelous claims made in tabloids, etc.

Not sure which to believe here...

I'm going to leave this here...

Yes! This exactly. This is exactly what a steno machine does, so why not set it up in the same way?

Thank you. Thank you very much for sharing this!

"But don't worry, you need to have your phone or remote control with you at all times—you can still use your home's light switches as usual."

Sorry, I don't watch enough movies in theaters to warrant paying $25/mo (which, for my family would equal $100/mo) for unlimited passes. As it stands, there just aren't enough films that make me WANT to go to the theater, and the ones that do I'm happy to pay for (though I'll admit I'd like to pay less for those).

You MUST watch this movie! I am of the firm belief that everyone must see this movie at least once in their lives (but let's face it, once you've seen it, you'll be watching it again and again). This has everything a good movie must. To quote Peter Falk's line at the beginning of the film, it has "Fencing,

Not terribly surprised by this. I'm really treating Win8 as Win9 research beta, much like Vista was for Win7. It will be usable, but the real magic will happen when MS takes the consumer feedback and implements it in Win9.

My understanding of the tech here is limited, but I think the answer is no. The ship itself never actually accelerates to breakneck speeds. The space in front of the ship is contracted, while the space behind the ship is expanded, creating a space-time wake. They are essentially surfing this wake in the same way a
