I’m aware of all those brands. A) They all skew towards price points which are quite high. I specifically mentioned healthy mix serum because it’s cheap and widely available. AA/African customers should be able to run down to the local drugstore and find something acceptable, as European/European American women

I’m saying that some brands do two shades for AA customers versus 10/12 shades for European/European American skin tones. The breadth of choice is in no way sufficient and we need to stop making excuses for these brands and how they continue to fail AA skin.

I think that plays into that narrative of darker skins being somehow more problematic and difficult to accommodate for but since we’re on opposite sides of

I’m not sure I understand what you’ve written. Are you saying that African skin doesn’t experience those multihued undertones? That Caucasian skins are not multicoloured? This doesn’t ring true to me but maybe I’m just misunderstanding what you’re describing?

I agree with what you’re saying. However, my caucasian friends aren’t all one colour on their faces either, otherwise they wouldn’t be diving into foundation at all!
