Fire Emblem: Three Houses does a much better job at balancing the horny anime wife simulator of Fates and Awakening with the serious, puzzle-y tactical combat that drew in fans of the early games.

When you drop Bowser into lava in the first world castle of New Super Mario Bros. (the original DS version), he watches Bowser struggle in the lava and his skin melt off leaving behind only bones and just says “THAT’S-A SO NICE” when it’s over so yeah, he’s messed up.

I much prefer there being no message boxes because first of all it forces the creator to tell a story entirely through visuals and second means there’s no glut of levels that can only be beaten by reading messages that may be in another language you don’t understand.

I am beyond sick of the baffling Beyonce worship.

I might be in the minority here, but I love the accents. They give Dragon Quest something that a lot of other JRPGs lack, which is PERSONALITY. I get that they’re tough to parse, but that’s half the fun. :P

She and Poppy should take it to the next level and get a full-on internet “feud” going between the two of them. Nothing says internet 2019 than ridiculous drama
