I mean, Michael Crichton’s sequel to Jurassic Park centers around the most popular character from the film version even though he died in the book, so it’s not unheard-of.

I really liked the idea of branching story paths in Fate, especially the idea that neither side is right or wrong...

Honestly, anything other than the muddled, poorly written family dynamics in Fates is an improvement.

This sounds like a much better way to do the branching story/teams than Fates did with its weird family dynamics.

Are you cherry picking quotes or are most popular streamers just the worst? Almost all these quotes rub me the wrong way, and some read as completely insufferable.

I’ll actually open about this and the answer is that it became a news story once someone from the company responded. By itself, I don’t know if one image from a screenshot merits an article. (Scope of player response would likely be the metric for determining newsworthiness there. But once the artist—who works at one

We can, but it’ll be -5 to your humanity point total because of the nano-injections.

I think it gets complicated by the company’s context of botching so much of social media and some of the rumblings from the show floor about how this latest demo was handling race. That’s a problem with the genre as a whole, but it doesn’t sound like 2077 is approaching that sort of thing with the greatest sense of

Just get rid of him already, all these fucking people and their disgusting fucking edgy streams, learn some manners and laws because this shit is tiring.

even if i do still think the story shits the bed real hard

This may sound crazy, but if you loved everything about the older game and its playstyle... you can still play the older game with its playstyle. It will always be there. For something new, I can see why they’d want to modernize some aspects because that battle system is 20+ years old and they get to bring back

That boss battle went on for too long. I really don’t have the time to spend 15 mins wittling down the first boss. The combat looks like a chore.

GREAT article.

“When played using only the sniper rifle, the battle is an exercise in aim and reaction time.”

Now playing

I was 12 in 1998, and I never even heard of the Metal Gear series to that point. But I remember getting a massive issue of EGM with a giant blowout of the first few hours of MGS (up to Kenneth Baker’s death) and just the descriptions of everything the game entailed, and a story that felt like a movie that came to

Eternal love for this game. It was released when I was 22 at a time when I had gotten my first real job and had a tiny apartment and zero money for anything other than rent and food. I was old enough to have gamed from the beginning (Atari 2600/Intellivision/Coleco/NES) and I remember playing through that opening

After seeing nothing but hate in the comments section on a lot of sites, I gotta say I’m pretty stoked by what we’ve seen. Good doggo legendaries, an open world core, raid battles against giant pokemon, and a really interesting looking design to the towns has me hyped.

“scales back to the OG 150"

There is no difference between “Actually racist” and “just being racist for a reaction”.

I’m glad we’re still litigating this in every single comment section, because we all very deeply care about your thoughts on digital storefronts.
