Millions of people would disagree with this. Just look at this thing you put in your 12VDC socket that gets you 100 mpg and 100 extra hp. Just look at the reviews by people that clearly do not work for the company showing how great it works.

Exactly. OEMs spend millions of dollars trying to meet fuel economy targets and emission regulations while retaining power targets, and drivability targets. Some dude with a laptop and a dyno doesn’t know how to magically boost fuel economy AND retain everything the OEMs do, otherwise that dude would be employed by…
That was certainly at the expense of emissions, and possibly longevity as well.
Was it at the expense of emissions though?
Most modifications tend to be a compromise. Want to improve the road handling by lowering the suspension? Compromise comfort. Wan’t more power? Kiss your MPGs goodbye. There are exceptions, of course, but automakers spend billions to engineer a car that makes the best compromises it can so any deviation we make with ou…

It’s an electric motor that looks like an outboard. That lake prohibits gas-powered boats, and wakes, under most circumstances. Those vintage rental boats can only manage 4.5 mph top speed.
you know that’s not a thing anymore right?
I honestly wouldn’t have noticed unless I read this article. I particularly like the large FedEx numbers because the color scheme breaks up the side design of the car.
A glider doesn’t use wind as a propellant, though. It’s using gravity and the plane that hauled it up in the sky in the first place.
Can we get an updated startup list? Id like to see whos making progress, whos stalling and when my Elio is going to be delivered.
Tesla was also early so they profited from selling emissions credits to the large manufacturers. Those manufactures are now moving in to the EV space so they won’t be doing that as much anymore so other EV startups won’t have that early profit center.
