You’re changing the discussion. In your original post you implied EV manufacturers were going to fail unless they could sell a car for less than 40k WITHOUT incentives (nut-job all caps yours). Now you are talking about if we should be incentivizing EVs. Those are two completely different things.

I suspect you mixed up kW and V a couple of times when talking about home charger options. Because a 240kW home charger is massive. That would well overload most service transformers.
