I had a little Nissan hardbody pickup but I wanted a fast and furious muscle truck, so I cut a janky hole in the hood and used sheet metal screws to attach a 90° duct as a ‘hood scoop’. Took out the bench seat and interior and mounted a plastic bucket seat (a loose plastic seat was available for rare passengers).

The 1st generation 300zx (1983-89), the very definition of bloated and underpowered. Such a step down from the quick and sexy Z's that preceded it

I’ve gotta go with Yamaha. They already make a wide range of products, including motorcycles, so they have a well established supply chain and quality control. They’re already developing electric bikes so the leap to electric cars would only take a market opportunity, some spending money, and the ambition to make

Them Duke boys are at it again

My partner had a 2017 Elantra that she religiously took for oil changes and with less than 75k miles a crank bearing went bad, we had to replace the engine which took the car out of commission for multiple months and cost thousands even after Hyundai discounted the new unit. When we got the car back we discovered the

I don’t particularly understand why touchscreens are allowed in cars in the first place. A control mechanism with zero physical identifiers or feedback that requires your attention to operate is a recipe for a bad time in a car. Use physical buttons or touch should be locked out while the vehicle is moving. Humbug.

You say that but... Well, just google “fake vents on cars”.

I feel like the only person who isn’t fawning over this design. In my opinion it’s minimally retro, and looks more like a poor body kit on a Subaru/toyota brz. The roof-line in particular just looks... deflated. I feel bad knocking the design because the Z is my favorite car, the original 240-280z was the best looking

I like that these bikes exist in the same way that I like the old Dodge tomahawk, or the Bugatti whatever-rons, they’re great to look at and talk about but who would buy one? I can’t imagine myself owning a bike with more than 100 hp, especially considering how happy I am with my 250 Ninja.

Ok, sure, but it's no Cybertruck ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Imagine being a basic-ass internet troll.

I think it's beautiful, I've been lamenting boring car design for a long time now and that includes Tesla's previous entries. This thing is exciting and different and badass, a far cry from ugly.

Nothing about pricing? I’d consider it a steal at $2k and robbery at $7k.

American cars maybe, I think of the 70s as the golden era of the Datsun Z.

Can I bring up silly things like poor acting and script issues? Also, regardless of the retconning it’s the movie that’s furthest from the story I was interested in (Dom and Brian). Not saying it’s the worst, but definitely not the best in my opinion.

But they won’t sell small bikes in the States? I feel like someone is just being obtuse at this point. Is Eddie Lampert in charge of Harley US?

I think there’s more than just inflation at work. According to my short Google research an F150 in 1979 had a base price of $5500, after inflation that would be just over $19k today, while a base F150 today starts at $28k. I’ve done this math in the past because I was annoyed that muscle cars used to be so affordable,

I guess I don’t know what the actual goal of the tunnel is, having done no research and only started following along when the tunnel was finished.

I just complained about all the $1 cars listed on my local CL... 🤮

While we’re grousing about Craigslist sellers, who else gets peeved by the $1 prices so many put in their ads?
