It was pretty widely reported at the time...

Look, Jezza was being a prat, and absolutely deserved to be fired. But why didn’t Tymon press charges at the time? Coming back many, many months later on...tenuous...discrimination charges doesn’t sit right with me.

Mmmmmkay. So, yes, punching somebody in the face is bad. Especially if the reason is as dumb as, “this food isn’t up to scratch.” Also, calling someone names is not nice.

Neutral: Several have suggested that car makers just produce cars to meet the strictest emissions standards around the globe. Problem is, there is no consistency among nations or even US states on what is actually tested. The US might be really strict on nitrous emissions, while Europe is tougher on hydrocarbons. With

Of course this is from northern Michigan. Of course.

Edmunds.com says private-party value for this mutha is just over $16k. Once again, a car that falls into the Rare-But-Not-Valuable category.

Yikes...those rockers. There is absolutely no easy way to fix those, and the more you dig, the more rust you will find. Cool car, but it's a money pit. Crack Pipe.

I think I have Crack Pipe fatigue. This car seems nice, and while I don’t really understand the motivation to cram a big ol’ lump of American iron into a perfectly good BMW, it seems to have been very well done.

Everything about this is dumb. Logano seems like a whiny, petulant child and Kenseth is behaving like a kindergartener. NASCAR takes the cake though, because it enables this kind of tit-for-tat bullshit now their ratings are sagging like Mike Joy’s jowls.

So...a basically equivalent Montero (granted, no turbodiesel, but still) from this year could fetch as much as $6k in perfect condition.

This basically removes a very big roadblock for buyers in snowy winter climates. There are certainly plenty of people who just get over it and daily drive their 'stangs, Camaros, Chargers, etc. here in western Michigan during the winter, but it's a tiny minority. I, for one, support this crazy, batshit insane idea.

About $1,000 too high. A daily driver with visible flaws - according to Hagerty - is currently worth around $2,500. The interior on this one is amazing, but the fact that this one needs work to run run puts it in the “fair” category for me.

The point: you missed it. What I’m saying is that an LP of Alvin and the Chipmunks is not as valuable as a Led Zepelin CD. The content matters. And what we’re talking about here is ‘70s badge-engineered malaise-mobile. It’s kitschy and sorta retro-neato, but not really collectible.

I agree 100% with you as the former owner of a ‘78 T-bird with a 351W and an automatic. Freeway cruisers have their place, but I still don’t see $7250 for this.

1977 Ford Granada: 0-60 in 14.2 seconds, quarter mile in 18.6 seconds at 70.1 MPH.

This is not worth $7,500 dollars because a 2011 Corolla would actually be more engaging to drive than this barge: 3,238 lbs. powered by a 302 V-8 that made 120 horsepower when fresh off the assembly line. I would wager at least a third of those ponies have escaped since 1977.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

I once made the monumental error of purchasing a 1967 MG B GT for $750. No MG worth so little is a wise investment.

I Don’t Wanna Lose You, and this thing sure would be useful when things are River Deep - Mountain High, but We Don’t Need Another Hero. Many people love these things, but What’s Love Got To Do With It?

This is probably one of those things that *sounds* like a good idea, but almost no one actually puts the bed to use. My dad had a low-top Econoline (pause - pours out a shot for the departed) conversion van and I think he may have slept in there once during the 15-or-so years he owned the thing.
