Eminent domain rears its ugly head again. So much for life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

Clean, unmolested, unique sixties car with a V-8. Loses Jalop points for being an auto, not brown, and not a long roof. With that said, would most definitely hoon. Nice Price!

Classic case study on why these kind of projects aren’t worth what you put into them. I’m sure the seller put $24k worth of parts and labor into it, but that doesn’t mean it’s worth $24k. Crack pizzle.

I chuckle at the “NEMESIS” parts, but I laugh out loud at the maniacal laughter. I’m with Snikpoh1390, this would definitely be me.

It was hard to tell where I was, but I believe they were still on slicks.

In defense of the drivers involved, the rain had been coming in fits and starts; and from the island it looked like the worst was over when the heavens suddenly opened.

These things are getting to be like Vanagon Syncros...this is very definitely a nice price.

I once flushing my cooling system into a gigantic garbage can, and then with the help of four friends, managed to pour it down the toilet without making my parents’ house smell like antifreeze for the rest of eternity.

Almost six grand could be a good buy; did a little research and that would be between "average" and "high" retail according to the NADA. But...it's a Vega. Like the article says...aluminum block, steel head, and signs of this car's nemesis - rust. CP.

Honest question: Could this have been ANY other state? The leading suspect (Florida, amiright?) is clearly NASCAR territory. Other typical meth-magnet states (Ohio, West Virginia, Kentucky) are similarly much more partial to NASCAR. Can't really think of any states where anyone would get this passionate about IndyCar

Earlier this year, I paid to renew my registration on Michigan’s Secretary of State website. Several weeks later, I received my new registration matching my current plates, along with a new and completely different license plate. Hmmm.

Michigan doesn’t even have a smog test. Diesel V-16 rolling coal? Sure, fine, whatevs. Hard to generalize, but it seems many northern states don’t inspect because every car would fail after a couple years driving on salted roads...

4th Gear: While I like the content, the voiceover for that ad seems very condescending. Sounds like George Clooney, and not sure why he (or the director/ad exec) decided to go with those inflections.

Pretty amazing lap, but what a handful! There must have been six or seven times the pilot had to go full oppo under braking.

Nice car, good to see one unmolested, but just because it's a Wolfsburg edition doesn't mean you can tack nearly three grand onto the asking price. NOPE.

My parents drove it up here from the Bahamas.

Yes, this is probably the saddest era for the Corvette, and yes, it sucks that it's an automatic. With those things said, 6K is a very nice price for baby's first 'Vette. I'm with those who like the caricature styling.

The XC90 was indeed a game-changer, but the other players have learned the rules. Audi, Mercedes, Lexus, Toyota, Infiniti, and Acura (to name a few) all have vehicles competing in this segment that did not exist when the XC90 was first introduced.

Q-SHIP! Extra Jalopnik points for the V-8 and being brown, so I say Nice Price!

2nd Gear: Yea, BMW and Mercedes set the precedent. They also weren’t at death’s door prior to building their factories in SC. Where exactly do they think they are going to find another 50,000 buyers in an already saturated market?
