Could be a multiple plotlines thing. Vol. 2 had the Sovereign plot and the Ego plot together, on top of the Yondu’s own subplot with the Ravagers. I could see Vol. 3 dealing with Adam Warlock, Rocket, and the search for Gamora.

Meh.  The worst this movie is going to be is mediocre.  Everybody’s worrying about nothing.

He did clear up that he was not, in fact, Hellcats dad so she was free to bang Son of Satan without the icky incest.

The worst movie podcasts I’ve tried to quit but stubbornly won’t?: Show Me The Meaning, Unclear and Present Danger, and Little Gold Men.

I read all of Immortal Hulk and I did not catch that, but to be fair that comic is weird as shit and has a lot to say about a lot.  

Gunn has never stated he disliked the character, only that he didn’t fit in with the GOTG movies, since Peter Quill was supposed to be the only human among the group.

Neil Young being a “trust the science” guy is actually…. kind of surprising. I had him more pegged as a “don’t trust big pharmacy, you just need some organic hemp, wheat grass and pig urine” kind of guy

NBC is just really behind the curve and starved for content.

It’s worse than beating a dead horse. If you beat a dead horse for long enough, something gross and interesting usually comes out. This is like wringing a dry sponge. 

I would watch a Joe Vs the Volcano sequel.  

TK2 got panned badly, but one thing that it did do right (AFAIK; I only watched the Carole-centric parts) was that it admitted that Don was a super-sketchy sleazoid who was headed toward jail if not a shallow grave under any circumstances. That, of course, was Carole’s contention all along, but everyone who was primed…

Some notes: Joe fighting a volcano is exciting, for a sequel you’ve got to have something that tops that or people will just watch the original again. I don’t think a Carole really ups the stakes from a volcano. 

Yes.  How and why is this still relevant?
