Being a liberal isn’t a good thing either dude
This joke got so tired on 4chan years ago. I’m still sick of it. You try to change the subject but somehow bring up Candle Jack and before you-
For those of us who liked Stewart on TDS but have moved further to the left since he left the show, the corporate-approved neoliberal POV will be off-putting. But unfortunately there are folks whose politics haven’t advanced since then and will eat this up. Conservatives will continue to think he’s a communist.
I hear John Oliver has a void in need of a new friend
I’m skeptical. The world has changed a lot since he left The Daily Show and it isn’t clear if Jon Stewart has evolved to meet that challenge.
Asimov has a story about VR porn, though, and by “VR” I mean wireheading.
Talked about all the vast information that will be available at your fingertips, but never once mentioned pornography. Class act.
There was a lot of anti-Arabic attitudes the minute Egypt came up. Its hard not to think co-producer Gal Gadot had a hand in this, along with lowkey racist centrist Geoff Johns and Patty “lets make this IDF soldier into a famous Egyptian ruler” Jenkins.
Because there was a gasleak and everyone went nucking futs with story ideas before they all sobered up.
there’s no magic cure
I like the show but I really don't know how much longer they can drag this out. Like, the end of season 3 feels like they were setting up for 4 to be the end. Feels like they're really risking jumping the shark (though I'm sure plenty would argue they did that already with the giant free-for-alls in the last two…
“You’re confusing narrative consequence with thematic consequence.”
Neither are present in this film when it comes to this issue. The only narrative consequence of Steve inhabiting someone else’s body is that the guy didn’t have a passport, which doesn’t matter, because if they just brought Steve back in his own body…
Yeah this reminds me that Yakuza: Like a Dragon may have been the funniest game I’ve ever played. What a brilliant game. I am notably not a series fan, either.
Shouldn’t doing something because you feel like it be kinda the default for this series? Like yeah I mostly super-jumped and flew places but every so often I’d find a car that handled really well (or better still, one that handled ridiculously poorly) and that’s good times.
This is a neat video, with an interesting theory. But I don’t know if I agree with the guy’s conclusion, which would essentially mean fictional work can never be defended from certain types of criticism because in-universe explainations don’t matter.
Yeah, this article seems to want Saints Row to just keep getting bigger from Iv and like... how? Bigger dildo bats? Rockets shoved up your ass so you can fly? Literally beating up hookers with the corpses of other hookers? What do you possibly want?
I dig the tone I’m seeing in this. I love Saints Row 3 and 4 to…
Hey! He just wants to protect the world from that MENACE spiderman!
Ooooooo-weeee!
“Come with me and ponder the question, ‘What’s up with that?’”
