Shout out to grey ayanami who defends Ubisoft by saying boycotts are bad because it’ll effect the employees and than dismissed every comment in their thread. As if the average employee of a AAA video game company doesn’t even see a dime in game sales let alone won’t be laid off regardless since executives will find…
Love how you dismissed every comment on your thread just to get rid of me calling out for defending Ubisoft...
To be fair, the OP thinks we shouldn’t boycott Ubisoft because it’ll hurt the employees whom AAA companies will lay off regardless of how their sales go so that executives will squeeze out as much money from the company...
Says the guy who defends Ubisoft because “Think about da employeez!”...
I Saints Row 2 balanced the silliness while still keeping it grounded perfectly. Where the option to do insane, over the top nonsense is there like spray city blocks with poop but the city felt like a real place and likable characters.
Now you’ve hit the Thermian Argument...
If the magic stone can conjure nukes from thin air what’s stopping it from just conjuring Steve a new body? Why does it have to overwrite some other guy’s body?
Why did they need to make Diana a rapist? What was with the Islamaphobic shit?
If only he was there to fix the Clone Saga...
To be fair, when he first appeared, he was basically just a mercenary hired to kill a werewolf...
Jameson has always been more of an antagonist than outright villain.
There’s a reason for that. Short verison is that, in the comics, Hank Pym struck Janet during a manic episode.
I resent the ideo of calling J Jonah Jameson a villain. Yes he personally was responsibe for funding the creation of the Socrpion and the Spider Slayers but his character is a lot more comples than that.
It’s rooted in stuff in the comics where Hank Pym is bipolar.
That’s Robbie Reyas, the All-New Ghost Rider. Unlike other Ghost Riders he’s haunted by the spirit of a dead necromancer who is also his uncle, lacks the ability to use the Penance Stare, and drives a car instead of a motorcycle.
There are strong echoes of Immortal Hulk in this new Moon Knight, specifically its emphasis on a nocturnal hero who has been fundamentally altered by exposure to a supernatural force and now cannot die.
Thank you for clarifying your OP. Online dogpiling tends to bring out the assholes throwing around “Cancel Culture” and downplaying or outright ignoring the many good faith critiques and emphasizing the bad.
I know you’re referring to the more aggressive criticism that the stalker shouldn’t be in the game at all, there’s nothing wrong with criticizing the fact the game lacked proper content warnings and the Developers even updated the game to account for that.
And, in-between becoming The Harpy the first time and becoming Red She-Hulk, she was killed by the Abomination because Peter David was going through a messy divorce at the time IIRC (He later regretted it and wanted to bring her back but he left the book before he could do that.) and than came back to life…
