I really like 5e. Once you get some experience and confidence as a DM, you can push combat along very quickly. And there’s a very real sense that the game is meant to be driven by imagination rather than rules.

We’re still here! A few folks have moved on, but you’ll still find many of the familiar avatars from the last site. Have you checked out the Kinjamprove Chrome extension? The indented threading and collapsing features are incredibly valuable to me. Really the only things I miss from Disqus at present are the email

Funny enough, I had planned to play Bloodborne and Icewind Dale: EE last weekend and wound up going into Legend of Grimrock II after finding a guide on party building. Always jumping around and restarting, that’s the thing I do.

I certainly am in the category of people who would like to tweak a combat deck in order to customise the experience of a Platinum-esque martial arts fighter. So Absolver is tempting, and particularly so at a $39.99 price point, but... the timing is terrible (just you wait a second) and the fact that milady cancelled

This weekend I will be playing Splatoon 2 and resisting the urge to pick up either the XCOM2 expansion or Mario + Rabbids until later in the month. There’s a ton of games this month, and they are all vying for my attention at a moment when I’m really trying to reign in unnecessary spending.

I’ll be playing lots of Chrono Trigger this weekend.

More Breath of the Wild. Still early, but I’ve been trying to take on guardians a lot. I had the timing down for the WiiU version, but for some reason I keep missing the perfect guard and dying horribly.

The D&D game gets another delay.
