Yep. That $24,500 is simply a down payment that allows you to take on the continual wallet-drain of keeping this beast running.

100% ND. Even at half the price, ND. At around $5,000 it might be interesting, but not to me.

Same here. His silly “aww shucks” persona just hits wrong and seems beyond fake. I have no proof that he is an asshole behind the scenes, but he seems like he easily could be.

I used to live in an apartment building with common laundry. 36 units per building and 4 washers and 4 dryers. Getting access to 1 or 2 machines was generally not a problem and I was fortunate to work from home, so I could use the machines during non-prime times.

What are the advantages? Asking seriously and not being snarky.

My grandmother (a mother of post-WWII and the 1950s) was very much a “cook from the box” type of person. Plenty of mixes, canned foods, etc. Her “shortcake” was Pillsbury biscuits, macerated strawberries (which she actually did herself fresh) and Cool-Whip.

We were just in Zurich in May and now I want to go back just for the detour. Taking a Swiss train should be a bucket list item for everyone. They really are among the best in the world. (Great app, too!)

A- here. They really like me, too.

I miss the late 1970s. For this and many other reasons.

I love cats, but we have decided for purely greedy reasons to be pet free for now in our single-family home on around half an acre in a non-HOA subdivision. When we had a cat, she was spayed, and stayed inside nearly 100% of the time. Any outside time was heavily supervised and limited.

If you’re into $6,000 “The Last Drop” whisky, I might know a guy.

I tried all three “permanent” pastries.

Also in TX and I have found this to be quite true in all the “Dollar” store brands and locations. Also, the air conditioning is generally at a high setting or not working (with a bunch of huge noisy fans in place of it).

I live a couple miles from the formerly largest Buc-ee’s in New Braunfels, TX. This one isn’t much larger, but it is bigger. More gas pumps (I think the one near m has only 100 or so). Regardless, they do plenty of business, and I only expect future locations to get larger and larger.

100% agree. I brew up around 28 oz. of strong coffee each morning, and that’s around 318mg of caffeine. But I also sip it over the course of several hours and don’t ever have a second one. It’s also my only caffeine source.

I suspect there aren’t many people having two grandes at Starbucks. But I can 100% see the

My wife and I do this every year and love it. Nothing to plan. No traffic. No expense.

Because that would require finding something more than just the name to put on each slide.

Tarchup sounds like a new name for Thousand Island Dressing. And I’m OK with that.
