Same here. I drink my coffee (black) in the AM and water or (occasionally) seltzer during the day. Once in a while I want the seltzer to be a bit more interesting, so I’ll splash in some pomegranate or similar juice that my wife has. I never drink it straight.

I hate ambiguous and confusing studies. A critical read of them really diminishes any potential value they might have beyond the already specious value most studies present in the first place.

It’s average price of pizzas across out pie outlets, not the cheapest one you can find.

Maybe I read too much Jalopnik, but Amphorae also sounds like it could be the name of a VW crossover.

I really wish I could put a TikTok filter on the internet and remove all evidence of it. I am mostly-successful at doing so. And when I am an idiot and click through on articles like this, I don’t watch the videos.

Hi! Not a vegan here, but this could easily be made completely vegan by using a vegetable or mushroom broth and coconut cream. As a bonus, I’d add some nutritional yeast to “cheese” it up a bit.

Same, although when these were $200 cars, this example would have commanded a premium above that as those $200 cars were beaters and this looks like a pretty nice time capsule.

Ahh the Vatican and the Catholic Church. How quaint getting “enraged” about a hamburger restaurant close to intergalactic Skydaddy HQ while looking the other way as millions of dollars are squandered by high-ranking officials and the lives of innocent children ruined by sexual and psychological predatory priestly

The Platinum Card used to be a “charge” card, but it does has a “pay over time” feature now.

Easier ways, perhaps. Better ways? Nope.

I cannot imagine that much (435.6 million sq ft) being under roof. More of a “complex” with multiple building, infrastructure, buildings, preserved areas perhaps, solar farms, water, etc. Even that would be huge, but is more understandable.

This sounds absolutely delightful.

The older I’ve gotten, the less tolerant I am of discomfort. So if I’m going to be in a plane for more than 5 hours at a time, I fly in the front, with larger seats (as I possess a larger seat myself). If I can’t afford first class at the moment, I don’t go on the trip.

In this case it’s really easy since I already avoid “* Mitsubishi” dealers.

Wow that Mitsubishi is not classically attractive, but based purely on looks, I’d still take that over anything that Lexus has in their lineup.

I can see this comment’s going to be poplar.

I’m impressed it’s still smog legal in CA.

That was pretty much my reaction to a fresh bottle of that stuff back in the day.
