I keep crappy CREE lights all over the house too, and 1 in the car. They work just fine in a pinch. By my bedside is my one really good light, which was about $60. I take it camping because I like the moonlight setting.

It’s not gimmick; it does work just not as perfectly as you would expect for the price/hype.Many years ago Spyderco licensed the opener “the Wave” for their Endura and Delica benchmark knives, and these openers work better than the original Emerson design, IMHO. If you want to try it, pick up one of the new Kershaw

Yep. Still douche chills and moist eyes.

I did a (very) little research on this, and it seems the rule was changed to make it less likely a player would miss the final due to accumulated yellow cards. Now there are only two matches to accumulate two yellows before the final, rather than three.

True. The men play by the same dumb rule. This was instituted 2 WC’s ago (Men’s) and I have no idea why. Accumulated yellows used to get wiped out once you advanced out of the group stage. Not anymore.

You can get the same bag in all black.

I have a very similar set-up I keep at my bedside and take on overnight trips away from home. It is the same Maxped bag with an Emerson CQC-5, a Leatherman Skeletool CX with bit kit, a flashlight, a Swiss Army Alox Farmer, a Space Pen, a Sharpie, note pad, Gerber Shard, Nite Ize carabiner, Bic lighter, and safety

I would have liked to have seen some unnecessary punishment.

Who gives a fuck what this moron says? Does anyone even watch this show? And if so, those people are the problem. This jack ass is just putting on a show to get faux outrage going.

Pretty good example. But they’ve won a ton of them too, and they’ve always basically been an all-star team. Whereas the Dutch... Talent will win out most of the time.

Never refrigerate butter. There’s no need to.

Oh, snap!

They did this a couple of years ago. Leatherman got all the love. I myself carry an Alox Pioneer almost everyday.

I couldn’t tell you if an Emerson would be worth it or not to anyone else. I’m glad I bought one, but I will probably not buy another. They’re really not EDC knives, at least for me, but clearly more tactical. They don’t slice very well, but they are built like tanks. Very well made but roughly finished. They are

I think you’ll be happy. Note when ordering there are two sizes, one slightly smaller than the Leek and the other a little larger.

I have the CQC-5k. It is interesting but a little too thick and heavy. One of the frame lock models might be better. I think the wave openers on the Spyderco Endura and Delica actually are better than the Kershaw Emersons, or even on my Emerson CQC-7.
