I had forgotten all about Jim Anchower. Time for a deep dive in The Onion.

I hope this is a season-long bit where he goes from novelty chair/bed to the next. Iron Lung; 70's swinger waterbed; Stephen Hawking wheelchair; Shaq Superman circular bed, Pope throne, lethal injection gurney; etc.
Bill Burr was correct.
No way anyone would believe that stupid name.
Still my all-time favorite entry from WYTS, from 2014:
“Hogwarts caretaker” with that photo might be the line of the young season.
Isn’t it handjob, a compound word?
I like this one, also by Oliver:
No kidding. The transfer (and compensation) rules for players are totally unfair, but coaches are like any other employees and should be free to take a better job anytime one is offered. He didn’t intentionally mislead the kid.
“Faerie Tale Adventure on the Amiga.” Never completed that game. Always wandered into a pack of skeletons and eventually got chased down and hacked to bits.
I soloed it as a monk too, bringing in NPCs just long enough to do their individual missions. I ran all over the marketplace with Memcar Pebblecrusher chasing after me (monks are fast), eventually taking him out with a sling. One long fight.
A real boss fight for a first level character. I eventually learned to pick up the two jerk NPCs in the first map area just for this fight, then discarded them after in the Inn. You have to split XP, but it is beer than dying over and over.
A must-do of you are playing a mage or a sorcerer to get a certain Staff.
With the new IOS EE editions of the BG games, I’ve recently played two characters (a good human monk and an evil elven dragon disciple sorcerer - (I’m looking for suggestions for a third; maybe a gnome fighter-thief - illusionist?)) all the way through the series, from BG1, ToSC, Siege of Dragonspear, BG2 Shadows, and…
Amazing how the two first round QBs taken last year that the experts had doubts on are far and away the best of the five. I guess maybe winning a Heisman might be a better indicator of NFL success than height or number of snaps taken under center in college.
Where’s the link to the packers story? What the hell is going on? Shenanigans!
I think this fair. Too many great tennis implosions - we need to recognize as may as possible.
USMNT was 2017's ATOY.
Exactly. The only rational reason why the Bengal hired Jackson anyway is because they thought he might be able to help them win the two upcoming games with the Browns due to his insider knowledge. They were a .500 team before the last game and in a tough playoff race, so they might have assumed he could give them an…
Not only should you not truss it, you should spatchcock it (not as dirty as it sounds).
