I think it’s more that this (and the Morbius thing they just also dropped) are probably getting included with the DCPs for No Way Home when they get sent to theaters.

I do think you’re right on the “as of now” part, but I also think the only way they get that platform to grow the way they want it to grow is to start moving into those areas. And I think they’re going to (especially with someone like Chapek running the show) way sooner than later

There’s this too - Even Bernthal’s had to speak out about it while playing the character. At this point, Punisher, for all his history and great stories that have occurred (not that Marvel’s going to be inclined to even 5% adapt any of them in the fashion they 5% adapt anything they have) should maybe just take a

Do you think Disney + would have touched Jessica Jones’ rape by Killgrave and all that trauma?

This was probably the best thing I’ve read on Gizmodo in quite awhile. Shivering and laughing simultaneously.

LOL.

I dunno what else to tell you. I read the book and it didn’t read like Sci-Fi. It didn’t feel like sci-fi, there wasn’t much very sci-fi about it. I don’t know that I’d call it sci-fi. (shrug)

Why would a plague be “science fiction.” There’s nothing particularly sciency (or even fiction-y, post-COVID) about anything that happens in the book at all. And so: I disagree that it qualifies as sci-fi.

Really looking forward to checking this out, not only because its’ pretty unique in terms of post-apocalyptic fiction, but because, despite the Arthur C. Clarke award it won - it’s not really sci-fi at all. Basically nothing about it is science fiction, especially not post-COVID.

I mean, should they make a multi-million dollar show about Boba Fett and NOT address this?

Well I fundamentally disagree about Eminem not being a parody rap act

M&M hasn’t dropped his name after decades of rap hits...

Sometimes things don’t have to be special. Sometimes, they can just be fun.

I bet she can do serious. Let’s give her that chance.

It is wild to me she’s still going by that name. Fucking baffling. Especially after the Shang-Chi press tour.

It seems obvious it’s already been here and we’re just now picking up on it.

I really hope I like this movie, because so far it looks a lot like something I’m going to love.

losing one’s self in idealized fantasies about other people—particularly famous ones—can lead to the most ultimate of disappointments.

She looked into the story of the games and got inspired.
