Can you explain to me why it makes sense for someone's vote to be less valid or ignored because of where they live?

Exactly, remember Obama's "Mom jeans". I was an Obama supporter, but I still got some good chuckles over that. And he wasn't so thin skinned as to post a few hundred tweets about it and refuse to go to the correspondence dinner.
