Normally I rule that, if I know who they are, they are too big of a name to be The Doctor. But I think she has the talent, the right size ‘fame’, and would be fucking amazing.
I previously never wanted to watch Doctor Who due to oversaturation in the geek culture. I then read how Atwell - when asked if she wanted to be a companion - responded she’d want to be the Doctor and it immediately flipped a switch in my brain to make me want to watch a series where this woman wanted to star. Ended…
