Hey Benny! LOOKS LIKE YOU’RE ON THE WRONG SIDE OF THE RI-VER!

“You were actually at Hamunaptra?”

“I may not be an explorer or an adventurer or a treasure seeker or a gunfighter, Mr. O’Connell, but I am proud of what I am!”

It’s true. That first Fraser Mummy flick, the Pierce Brosnan/Rene Russo Thomas Crown Affair, and that first Antonio Banderas Zorro movie all came out around the same time, were all loads of fun, and they all represent a kind of exciting, enjoyable, and not too self serious action flick that seems all but anathema to

Hey, 1999 The Mummy is a classic,no doubt about that. One of my favorite movies ever.

I have such a soft spot for the original film, and even the sequel.

I could honestly quote that movie all day:

Shit...I haven’t seen those movies in forever. Cheesy as hell but god they were good. I’m definitely gonna have to make it a point and watch that soon.

God, that movie was fun.

i loved the pulpy aspects of the first two!

I have such a soft spot for the original film, and even the sequel. They really are some of the final relics of a type of action film that no longer exists.

This does look like the Fraser ones but without the wit and charm.

I know. This doesn’t look fun at all.

This just makes me want to watch the 1st Brendan Fraser one again.

Of course the social conditions in Saudi Arabia are reprehensible — but the vast majority of immigrants, Muslim or otherwise, who arrive on American soil aren’t looking to replicate those conditions here. (Those whole are, let us fight them on those issues toe-to-toe!) But I’ve known many Muslims in L.A., people who
