You are correct. The man who called other republican candidates names and who mocked a man’s disability is worse behind closed doors with the woman who he knows is trapped I see misery and fear in her eyes.

Thank you for this. I said a lot of stupid things in defense of my ex while trapped in an abusive marriage. It was partly because I loved him and needed to rationalize that he wasn’t terrible and partly that I was so afraid of him. When I see the gifs of how he has treated her and her reactions it all comes crashing…
