More additions, more weird writeups. The megaman legendaries get “an interesting fire-psychic type” and “a been-there-done-that fire-ghost type”. This despite Fire/Psychic and Fire/Ghost both being represented in three evolution lines. Fire/Psychic has Delphox, Darmanitan-Z, and Victini, while Fire/Ghost has the

Publisher and developer listed as the same on the right side there.

Bottom left. “At the request of the publisher”. That’s weird. Suggests Steam isn’t who decided to take the game down.

It wasn’t 75 continuous hours.

It’s still pretty disingenuous. I see Pikachu on the header, my first thought is “whoa, there was Pokemon news at Gamescom?” and then I scroll through and it’s just... that.  They got the click they wanted, I guess, but I wish clicks weren’t the first and foremost goal.  That’s just the landscape of the internet now,

He’s not the singer of Funimation’s first One Piece opening any more. I am. Good job, me.

I’ll use as an example my favorite game, Risk of Rain 2. The latest patch fixed forty-two bugs, 35 of which were user reported. Bug reports and fixes are part of gaming now. That’s a lot better than it used to be, before consoles were tied to the internet, when bugs would just stay on a game forever.

Is there really a goddamn difference between an article named “Nintendo Of America’s Testers Say They Faced Years Of Sexual Harassment” and one named “Nintendo Of America’s Third-Party-Contracted Testers Say They Faced Years Of Sexual Harassment”? No. Besides, part of the focus of the article is how difficult it was

The ability to disable items/hazards/meter is baked into the game so I’m not sure why you act like it betrays some “right way to play” or something. The only thing that actually does have to be enforced outside what you can already enforce within game settings is stage selection. Even playing casually with friends I

Please, this slippery slope stuff is silly.  Brawl and Smash 4 had ONE character ban each, and that’s it in competitive Smash history.  Steve is the only serious character ban discussion in Ultimate.

Came here to say this.  Also Kirby Air Ride, but Jalopnik might not be the right place to fight that battle haha

You’re an idiot. I haven’t said anything except timestamps to you for two weeks and you’re still just going at it.  Enjoy your last word, I’m done now.

I’ve never been closer to not enjoying One Piece than reading the Fishman Island flashbacks week to week. But they were a lot less exhausting reading it in one go. But yeah, Wano was awesome cover to cover. I’m also really excited that we’re going to be leaving an island actually not knowing what’s coming next, which

As far as battle manga (One Piece aside), a lot of them are losing me. MHA is in Big Dumb Battle mode, and Jujutsu Kaisen has gotten so deep into the current arc that I’m starting to want to re-read that whole thing too just to get all the characters straight again. Even Mashle I feel has lost some of the charm over

I had really low expectations for Super Smartphone based on its first chapter but it’s actually been pretty good. It’s no Death Note or Liar Game yet, but pretty good.  I haven’t kept up with Earthchild but that’s mostly due to falling behind on a bunch of manga during my One Piece re-read, first re-read since the

What’s wrong with the RuriDragon artist? I’ve been enjoying the hell out of that manga, it’s super cute.

Show-Ha Shoten is another manga about comedy, specifically comedy duos, on the SJ app. It’s a monthly manga with 10 chapters out so far. I’ve laughed out loud at it several times. The artist of Death Note and Bakuman draws it, but he’s paired with a new writer for this one.
