That’s a strange, demoralizing rule but I guess I understand the desire to have more games to broadcast.

Why the hell did they wait until the fifth game ended to end the “first-to-three” match? If a team goes up 3-0 in a best of five, that’s it. Match ends. The fact that they kept playing is extremely weird if the tournament coordinators intended it to be a best of five.
