A lot of them are muscle memory, but they’re sometimes arranged in a way where you have to contort your hand in odd ways, so…

it makes so much sense when you’re using a touch-screen keyboard you have to look at, and the suggestions are in the middle of your screen. But I’m typing in a window 6+ inches above my keyboard; there’s no way my eyes are going to see the suggestions. It would take forever to get used to positioning text boxes low…
