I absolutely agree. It was a traffic accident. Even if she’d been completely at fault, every single driver has done at least one dumb thing that could have killed someone but for luck.

I think the fact that the Barsons also entered the intersection lawfully confuses things, and without video showing that Venus was already in the intersection well before the Barsons had a green light, it was probably easy to assume that she’d run a yellow or something.

One of the flaws in this analysis is that it does not take gerrymandering into account. The Democratic Party can win a million or more of the popular vote in Congressional elections, yet still face a Republican majority in Congress.

What I’d look for is not “will you impeach Trump” but “will you do everything in your ability to ensure the investigation into Russian interference continues impeded”.

There was a credible report during the campaign that at his first national security briefing, Trump asked why we couldn’t just nuke our enemies in the Middle East. And it was AFTER that report that he was exposed as having no idea what the Nuclear Triad is. He just really wants a chance to irradiate somebody.
