Ah I see it’s a backdrop. They didn’t all just climb out of an El Camino clown car.

I can’t imagine being particularly invested in the main character and how he hits about achieving his objective without having seen the show, though if you do just go ahead and watch it I’d be very interested in your take. If you like those aftermath-type movies where you only get small flashes of a past situation who

He’s also one of the creators of Peep Show, where you can see his talent for mining the comedic potential of self-loathing really come into its own.

Or an ignorant slut.

The worst is when someone posts a video of one animal being nice to another, and there’s inevitably at least one comment to the effect of, “Humans could learn from this!” As though all dogs are always gentle with ducklings and humans are never ever nurturing toward members of other species.

Yes they’ve cast him as Dickie in this series.

Except that Andrew Scott turns 43 next month so his fantastic acting chops are going to have to do some heavy lifting to pull off 21 in the early episodes. Also I wonder how many episodes each book will get — it sounds like the number of seasons is TBD.

I’ve felt that way about a lot of guys people go nuts over, but with him I have to say, I absolutely 110% see what they’re talking about. I loved him as Moriarty but didn’t register him at all as hot, so I think it also has a lot to do with whether that particular character resonates. I’m Irish, Catholic, and I like

I heard a great interview with Nile Rodgers where he sounded equally enthusiastic about how much he loved Rapper’s Delight and how he had no qualms about suing them. No rancor whatsoever, just cheerfully pragmatic.

When this was first posted I hadn’t yet watched Halt and Catch Fire. So now I’m going to add Goodwill, Search, & Ten of Swords to the list.

Alamo is the best. I made the mistake of intentionally seeing A Quiet Place somewhere else because I thought the sound of people eating would be distracting, but somehow I forgot about cell phones. Never again.

Just Shoot Me had a great variation on this too. Dennis meets Mark Hamill and goes all fanboy on him, so Mark Hamill turns the tables by following Dennis around asking him stupid annoying questions. That show was hilarious. I don’t understand why it’s not streaming anywhere.

Morgan Fairchild.

I can understand what motivates the people behind scams where they actually part fools from their money, but what is the point of this sort of thing? Does someone profit or benefit in any way, or is it just the social media equivalent of a crank call?

No one’s ever that far from the swamps of Jersey.

Do you follow John Lurie on Twitter? Because yesterday was stupendous. He got all fan-boy because Ed Asner complimented one of his paintings. It was super cute.
