More a reference, but he was discussing Facebook just a few episodes ago. I believe there's more but I'm blanking. More broadly, anytime they have him discuss something anathema to his entire persona.

Each week would feature a plot in which Chilton has to out-smarm an antagonist, British sports cars, and of course so, so many plaid suits.
Oh yeah, my mind was blanking on what to call a Newton's Cradle but that's really apt, too. In the earlier seasons they'd use a metronome, too, wouldn't they?
It's great when they have Hannibal use trendy slang—the way Mikkelsen enunciates "mic drop" as though they're completely foreign words.
Seriously though. I spent the entire season cursing Hannibal for being a royal jerk to absolutely everyone and then he gets shot in the back and I go, "No, save him!"
That's what Francis said.
I really loved the little percussive bits while Will was asking for Hannibal's help, and then after they escaped. They were like the clicking sound a gas stove makes just as it's heating up.
"Magnificent Seven" and "Lightning Strikes (Not Once but Twice)", in particular.
I don't know who's directing, but that would be a fine send-off. As harrowing as it can be sometimes, I'm going to miss this show and it's strange/beautiful atmosphere so much.
I'm usually pretty good at keeping an it's-only-a-tv-show type of emotional distance from a lot of the stuff on this show, but the face biting scene had me going "No! No! Oh, man, no!" out loud. There was an element of shock to it, for sure.
I've said it before and I'll say it again, "What is the point of a sport with a time limit when it takes 15 minutes to play 5 minutes of said sport?"
True, but I was thinking more along the lines of being the only one able to put two and two together re: Hannibal the Cannibal (aside from Will and Beverly).
And Chilton's pretty Slytherin but also kinda Ravenclaw.
No, they just borrowed a photo of a similarly aged Alex Kapranos.
Kid, speaking in PeeWee Herman voice: Hi, Mom.
He does! Or did, at least. I read he once survived a crash by vaulting himself over the handlebars of his bike or some such thing. Can't find the quote at the mo'.
Willikers! Theet's awful!
That pic makes it look blue, but I think you're referring to the red/black tartan suit from earlier this season, no? Both of the doctors have a had a nice arsenal of plaid this season. Probably to symbolize their building character symmetry. But also because they are both dapper fellows.
I don't know what I'll miss more: his facial expressions, his snazzy plaid suits, or getting to see that sweet XK150 every once in a while.
Or a theremin, even.
