That's what we did, too — and I still freaked out about spending that much money. It was far more than I could be comfortable with because we don't make much. When I see how much other people spend on their weddings, though, I think we did really well.

Love it, love it, love it. I used to see him at stuff around Los Angeles and I'm so happy he's sort of famous and that his FACE IS ON SARIS.

I don't like her songs at all but I LOVE her white hair and black eyebrows! And her face! I love her face! Also her accent, which is weird because it's pretty much my accent.

Yep. I lived in Los Angeles for ages (hence getting married to a bloke with a name with a Spanish J) but then moved home… the closest anyone gets to pronouncing my name right is when they assume it must be the related-but-different surname of a South American footballer who's famous here!

I try, I try.

I could definitely have a Henry; at least Prince Henry is universally known as Harry, so my potential future baby Hal could be different!

I know (all my sister's zillion in-laws' kids are named Alfie and Stevie and Georgie and Charlie and some others I can't remember)… but I watched six hours of Game of Thrones yesterday!

I can only think Lily Allen's brother in Gane of Thrones is inspiring all the Alfies.

No one needs to out-Kanye Kanye. No one needs to Kanye at all, not even Kanye.

Hee!

I know someone who's related to a Marlon and a Brando (brothers)!

Ooh, Kira's lovely… but I just realised now it's been ruined for me by Keira Knightley. (I sympathise on the grandmother who couldn't say her grandchildren's names… I know someone whose own mother couldn't pronounce her name!)

Is Amalia different enough? I love Amalia.

I'm all for split-crotch knickers on split-crotch occasions, but for everyday wear I like to keep the above-mentioned "so much moisture" in my underwear. ¡THONGS POR VIDA!

Ugh; I feel for anyone with accents. I've just got a Spanish name and a hyphen, and that's confusing enough for my fellow English people.

It is wonderful, isn't it? I think I probably never thought of it because of the prince… and then for about five minutes I realised that my granddad should definitely trump the prince… and then I remembered that any potential future kid I have would be half American and all his myriad aunties are massively into the

When I've been in America and Spain with my newly acquired Spanish-J-involving surname, it was so lovely to not have people think it was weird. The glazed-eyed people here at home are tiresome.

I suddenly thought of William as a potential future boy's name last night, for the first time in my life — and then I realised that eeeeeveryone would think the potential future boy was named after the prince, which he wouldn't be, so I discounted it again.

My surname is awesome too! But, alas, I now live in a non-Spanish-speaking country and people here pretty much refuse to accept that my name is pronounced the way it is. (When I'm in Spain or America, everyone can handle it just fine.)
