My biggest achievement in my girlfriend-of-a-meth-addict years was that I never once let any of the little meth friends temporarily-for-several-months move into my flat for any tragic reason, ever.

Don't worry, I can laugh about it now! I spent several years surrounded by meth people and devoting all my time to worrying about them doing things like that… and it's SUCH a relief to no longer expect anyone to cut their balls off/something similar.

I had a boyfriend who was on meth, and he had lots of little meth friends too. None of them ever cut off their own bollocks… but I was living in fear of something like that. I expected it.

I'm lazy so I just do water and normal old soap (but not much) morning and night, if I'm not wearing make up. If I do wear make up, I take it all off very thoroughly… and then do water and soap.

It's as bad as you think. I was there as part of an afterparty that went awry, and it was horrid. And then it took 40 minutes to get a cab, because I haven't been on Big Brother.

I'm all in favour of fun, but I'm really glad we didn't do proms when I was young. The May Ball at uni was horrible enough.
