I liked him as a villain you love to hate. Or at least a schemer who is entertaining in the way he skeeves everyone out. Happy for his downfall, but I really liked the performance, odd accent and all.

Madeleines?

Twist and tuck under.

Yeah, I’m a classically trained Saucier and there’s no way I’m cooking skinless duck and trying to pawn it off as anything French.

Out of curiosity, where do you live? I’m an Indonesian living in Boston. There’s no shortage of Chinese food here, but not one Indonesian restaurant. At least Chinatown in Boston has some good barbecue places.

You know, me have read lot of complains in past year about “mission drift” at A.V. Club, how site writing about politics and food (and yet rarely cookies! What up with that, A.V. Your comment is showing up as “pending.” FYI, I don’t know if that’s the same thing as being a Gray. I starred it because apparently that helps? Unless I’m a Gray too and don’t know it.

I am a web-dev, and I’m only more baffled by this transition now.

I’m just going through and “starring” people’s comments that are in the grays. I’m in the grays and I’ve gleaned that getting stars might get you out. Any help would be appreciated!

I’ve worked alongside web devs, though I’m not one myself, and I can appreciate that not everything can be anticipated when going through a massive revamp. Hiccups are inevitable. I can also appreciate that oftentimes there are people within an org who DO anticipate certain hiccups but are ignored because they don’t

Heh, sure. These days on Christmas Eve my wife and I go out to our favorite restaurant, Keen’s Chophouse in NYC.
