I wasn’t trying to suggest that it wasn’t hard work. It absolutely is, and I’m more than appreciative of what they’ve done all these years. I was specifically talking about how there are people who do believe that DBZA is better than the original series, and that’s what I mean that it’s more remix than anything. DBZ

I’m with you there. Even as someone who loves DBZA, I don’t think you could say that it’s better than the source material, especially when so much of what works about DBZA is dependent on it being an abridged version of an anime.  I personally don’t feel comfortable saying that it’s better than the original series.

No offense to TFA, but that’s why I don’t care for the IS DBZA BETTER THAN DBZ debates? Because DBZA, for as well written as it is, is still entirely dependent on the source material for most of its content.  It’s a remix, albeit one that feels like an anime for a modern, internet age, but still...

But it wasn’t like it was supporting solely for DBZA, it was for TFA as a whole. So if you did put into the Patreon, they got exactly what they

Considering you’re praising Blizzard for doing the bare minimum—you might as well have.

Shit.   Just gonna pretend the whole thing with China didn’t happen.

It seems like this trailer seems to be an attempt to rectify that with the expanded Honey Bee section.  Whether or not they pull it off--well JRPGs don’t have the best track record with that.

It’s no different than how people react towards celebrities: Influencers, with editing and scripts, can seem like the most charming, affable, dedicated individuals, while the audience get to live vicariously through them.

Like celebrities, they can “never disappoint you,” because you never get to see that side of them.

Yet. I think you meant they’re not a nation, yet.

Igor? Best rap album?  I thought it was a massive drop from his last album.

Land of the Lustrous says hi. Proof that you can make cg work as well as 2d.

Racism’s a hell of a drug.

Right. And there’s nothing wrong with a show that knows exactly what it is--a battle anime.

No. That’s not particularly true.

I think the problem with DBZ is power creep that it got so ridiculous that it had to become the Saiyan show, but DBZ absolutely is no different than any other shounen manga/anime out there where the main story progressions are power ups or transformations or a(nother) tournament arc.

Oh boy...an edgy opinion about how Dragon Ball was never good.

Never heard that one before.

Gosh this is terrible. Simply the *checks notes* worst.

If gamers need to play through separate game to understand your main installment—then you’ve failed as a storyteller. Especially when you include Square’s hijinks of multiple games across multiple consoles that all are apparently canon to the KH universe—yeah that’s bullshit.

And how is it any fucking different than people streaming raids that they have no hope of achieving in any other MMO.  Why is it bad when Destiny does it?

It’s terrible because it’s Destiny and Destiny is bad.

Yeah. I think people take for granted what delays possibly mean. Any company can be put on a front that everything is okay. But if shit is fucked inherently from a development point of view, then it doesn’t really matter how long you delay your game.
