Yeah, I won’t be buying a Call of Duty game that doesn’t have a campaign. I always love the insane set pieces and fun battles, and there are so few shooter campaigns anymore.
I don’t think you’re in a minority when it comes to Black OPs’ campaigns. They’ve generally be the highlight of the game, especially with 1 and 2 being praised. This is a bummer.
Well this is a huge bummer if true. I’m that minority player who loves the campaign but only dinks around with multiplayer for 5-15 hours after completing said campaign.
It’s a little sad that killing is the default action in videogames, to the point where saying “hey, you don’t murder!” in an open world game is seen as very surprising.
I am down for giving this a go, I love it when a game tries to do things differently.
Aside from the shooting part at the end, it’s fairly easy to manage even for a wii waggler. There are a couple of scenes where one of you drives and the other shoots, so you can maybe swap controllers based on which turns out to be easier. Until the climax it’s all fairly single button at a time.
I do like this game, but I fail to see how it’s an unfair assessment. The amount of times I felt like the solution required noticing one minor, specific thing, in lieu of other, equally present, minor, specific things was too many for my tastes.
Boy. This type of gameplay is just the height of cleverness.
