You can back up saves to a thumb drive, ya know? And if you have PS Plus it's all automatically in the cloud anyway in the event that your system breaks. Every hardware manufacturer I'm aware of cares not for our data.

I smiled at all of them, but made an audible noise at the fart joke. I'm pretty pathetic, although it was kind of funny that the rest took at least some wit to conceive, and the big finale was a fart joke.
Someone help me clear up my confusion here. Is Owen saying that skins for TF2 and Avatar "items" for the 360 are somehow better and more meaningful than dashboard themes on a PS3?
If this is how you're living, you're doing it wrong.
Vita is legit. It's a great device with a lot of great experiences on it. Anyone who hates on the Vita either has a chip on your shoulder or they don't like video games.
It all comes down to time management. The most important things will win. I love video games, programming, piano, guitar, movies, TV shows, running, lifting, and I want to learn a language.
Having 2 kids myself, the Vita has been super awesome and my main platform currently for the past year. Partly because of the convenience that I can play it in any room in the house, and partly because I have no business playing M or even T-rated games in front of my 3 year old son.
Grab an ASUS VH236H (or VH232H as they're in stock @ NewEgg right now) — they have HDMI, speakers, and they're perfect for gaming because of their low input lag: http://www.displaylag.com/display-databa…
You don't *need* more than 1080p, but you should definitely want it.
Well for those of us without any friends to play old games locally with, online multiplayer would be wonderful and quite "needed" "improvement". Thankfully a lot of PC emulators already support it.
I played through FF7, FF8, FF9 on a PC via emulation and used the hell out of the frame-skip toggle option (sudo fast-forward) and never not once had any issues playing through those games. It works equally well for NES/SNES games.
Still in need of some Soul Sacrifice pre-order enticements. Like $10 off — where you at NewEgg? ;)
Fast forward along with network capabilities for multiplayer are the two best reasons to use emulators these days. So disappointing how the VC for the Wii turned out without these simple features.
+1 for localizing the sequels.
I don't know... while I can't personally name a third person game that controls well with k&m, I can certainly imagine one exists.
I disagree, the problem for me was that it just wasn't fun. Contrasted against all the other game first person shooters, it felt like a chore. I made it through 11 chapters (out of ~22?) and haven't touched it since.
Wow, no love for Extras Season 2 Christmas Special? That along with Scrubs: My Screw Up were two of my most memorable TV moments.
If anything, I hoping they fix the multiplayer changes they made in Dark Souls that made it impossible to link up with friends online. In Demon's Souls, I could always find someone, but it was hit or miss (mostly miss) in Dark Souls. I didn't play Dark Souls as much as Demon's because of that.
Hehe, 2004-2006's internet wasn't all that great anyway.
