@Godmars: Those plans likely went by the wayside when Lionhead and Bungie saw the hardcore crowd throw a temper tantrum when the tech was originally demoed.

Well of course Microsoft doesn't have any core titles that utilize Kinect. The hardcore crowd wrote the system off before it even had a name and a price, why bother trying to develop for them?

@Shinta: Honestly after the end of Fable 2, Fable 3 is a rental only for me.

My order with AT&T Premier has been processing since Tuesday. I'm fairly certain I'm not getting an iPhone.

If my order is currently processing (so says my AT&T Premier tracker), did I manage to get a preorder or am I shit out of luck?

Looks like the Apple's online storefront is now saying that the preorders from this point on will ship on the 24th rather than arriving on the 24th.

So I managed to place an order with AT&T a little before 3PM EST. According to their tracker, my order has been received but it hasn't been processed yet.

About three hours since I managed to get AT&T to receive my order, still haven't heard back as to whether or not it's actually been processed.

I'd wager a guess that the custom Kinect port is a way to draw power from the 360. If you're running it off your PC there's probably a power brick that you'll use instead.

My favorite thing? Optical audio built into the unit.

Cue hardcore gamer outrage. I can't blame Microsoft for abandoning you, you're impossible to please.

@josh6135: Kinect, mostly because I think the idea behind it has more potential than the others. I don't know if they'll hit their lofty goals this generation, but I like the idea of at-home MoCap.

Wait this is an event involving iCarly and Nickelodeon? Well no wonder we've only heard about casual titles thus far, there's no way in hell Microsoft would announce some kind of AAA game for Kinect at a venue like this.

Somehow I don't think USA Today has the complete list of Kinect titles that we'll be seeing in the near future. I expect Microsoft has more up their sleeves that they'll be revealing at their E3 presser.

@ibro911: Why? For putting something into the console that people have been bitching about being absent since launch?

@SigmundTheSeaMonster: Without spoilers, yes, but it still feels faithful to the TV show despite that.
