Oh definitely. When you remember that DVDs are 480p, it looks pretty bad. Of course, all sorts of things (like bitrate) come into play, but who knows what YouTube's compression does to all that. In any case, it shouldn't look this bad if the original was in clear HD.
All us Japan Kotakuites need to do a meetup someday. I miss the Kotaku Japan pre-TGS parties :(
It's articles with a 'self-entitlement' tone like this that make me think back to your post about the gaming community in the "get your act together Square Enix" thread (which I liked by the way - your post, not the article). I've always had more of a "Boy would it be nice to hear some info on XX," not "Where the hell…
While I loved my N64 + Mario 64 back in the day (and still do), I'd probably have to go with the PS1 with Twisted Metal 2, Crash Bandicoot, and Jet Moto. Ohhhh man TM2 was the best past time with friends...

I thought it was funny, cause I thought the same thing, "Who's Mini-san?!" ;)
I think that was GaoGaiGar's joke...
I'm curious, how was it accidental?
I'll probably wind up googling it, but any knowledge/advice on how to shoot for B&W?
Couldn't agree more. The CG creatures were so good that seeing them as smooth and crisp as they were in 48fps made them look even more real, and totally blew me away. I felt so immersed... like I was watching actual monsters.
No, no, this is much worse than the hipsters, trust me :(
Loving the couple of serious replies here.
It's possible his mother owning the guns was related to "lax gun laws," so.
That was strike number one for me. Strike number two was Resident Evil 6.
Does Vignette not add... a vignette? How is adding a vignette "barely changing anything"? It makes a fairly big difference, for both photos and video.
