I've thought a long time about the Smithers joke at Dr. Nick's. I've finally watched it enough to notice two things. 1) Smithers looks incredibly stiff and uncomfortable and 2) he doesn't sit down on the bench with everyone else. Therefore, the only conclusion I can come to is that the joke is that he has lost

This is worse than when he sold out for Savvy Indian Chewing Tobacco

Still no studies on the public acceptance of big, fat party animals.

This show…
is kind of a guilty pleasure. I don't know anyone that's not a complete douche that wholeheartedly loves it, yet everyone seems to watch it.

I dig it
Mostly for Fassbender and McAvoy staring longingly into each other's eyes.

Gotta disagree
I found this to be the best episode of the season so far, despite the outdated Dan Brown plot. I'm still a little wary of this season, though. My hope has not faded entirely, but I'm getting worried

Sarcasm is considered a form of verbal irony

That's actually a really good piece. I admit that the quality is not the same; I'm just saying it's never been bad. Actually, this season was pretty damn good.

I would rather watch the worst episode of The Simpsons than the best episode of most television. It's so comforting, even when it's not on it's A game

Tackiest Merch
Gotta be my Smithers action figure. Even comes with a little Malibu Stacy and a computer with his sexy Mr. Burns wallpaper. To be fair, I didn't buy it, just kind of acquired it.

As far as I'm concerned, The Simpsons has never been "bad", just not as good.

That is the regular cut.
The extended interview is 15 minutes.
