Bane is canon. The Clone Wars had an episode featuring Yoda meeting the force ghost of Bane. They kept the basics in that Bane created the Rule of Two system for the Sith that we see in the first six films, even though Karpyshyn’s trilogy isn’t considered canon.

don’t worry, I’m sure many agree with you, in many ways myself included. The one part of the EU that I miss is KOTOR. I never read the Thrawn Trilogy or the New Jedi Order books and I think The Force Unleased is super overrated.

My prediction is that female voice from the malachor temple is Kreia’s. Filoni had the Voice actress for Asajj Ventress come back because he likes to use Clone Wars voice actors and I think her voice is close enough to be passed off as Kreia’s.

Korriban is already cannonized as Moraband in the Clone Wars TV series. Aside from its name change Moraband and Korriban are exactly the same.

I looked it up on wookiepedia and I think the novelization confirms it- the planet luke is on is called Ach-To or something like that. How i decide to look at it is that the first temple is on this Ach-To while most of jedi early history was on tython.
