I’m just happy that someone is talking about Bardstown Road. I was in and out of Fort Knox for a couple of years and I still miss it.

Former tanker here. M1A2 SEP variant weighs in at approximately 72 tons. Even with track pads installed, pivot steering can do a number on asphalt. Additionally, tanks have what is basically a jet engine, which can throw off some serious heat, which is probably not great for spectators watching the parade up close.

For what it is worth, I’m a 2003 grad - was standing in my kitchen with tears in my eyes watching this win. I feel the same way. Beat ‘em!
