The weird thing is I went to a Bernie rally and he came off as pretty feminist to me. Like I was surprised because sometimes old socialists like him have some kind of regressive views on women, but he spent a pretty good chunk of time talking about pay equity, childcare, reproductive rights and etc.

Which is really the best way of deciding things. Have all the candidates run a race. Sorry Chris.

His health is FANTASTIC!
The healthiest person EVER!

Honestly, I don’t think it’s nearly as much as a problem as we’ve been led to believe. Yes, it’s bad, but we’ve gotten to the point that the majority of the right would vote the way they do regardless of how much money they were given. Like, the NRA could remove every single penny, and we’d still be here.

....except for the time he campaigned for Obama and helped to get him elected...and supported his proposals...and helped get Obamacare passed. And for those times he and Elizabeth Warren worked on hiking Social Security....and all the other times Bernie has worked with both Dems and the GOP to try to get stuff done.

Yeah, like having Chris Rock host feels like he's hired to entertain whitey.

Having the only African Americans on stage as PRESENTERS at the Oscars is a little...uncomfortable feeling.

Here’s my take on this: What has been established as “Establishment” (Capital E intentional) is super PACs and multibillion dollar lobbyists who are paid by big banking, big pharma, big business in general. Hillary is supported by most of the large financial institutions, like CitiCorp. Her daughter and son-in-law are

Hillary is so damn corporate it’s a wonder how she’s able to run as a democrat.

Yes But sorry if this is reposted. I argue that Bernie has been fighting the establishment from the inside for years. Linked below is a great example of such.

Right? It’s the polished phoniness of it all.

Her saying, “I just don’t understand what that means” is one of the most establishment things she could do. It’s the equivalent of “I don’t remember” in Congressional testimony. I’m a woman and a feminist and I really would have loved to support a female candidate, but Hillary is so disingenuous and self-interestedly

YOUR HUSBAND WAS THE PRESIDENT YOU ARE PART OF THE MAINSTREAM DEMOCRATIC ESTABLISHMENT JFC

When the original poster wrote “But he sucks at foreign policy...” I took it to mean that Hillary doesn’t suck at foreign policy. It’s possible that I am mistaken in this assumption.

Sorry, but the idea that Hillary is better on foreign policy is among the most pernicious, demonstrable falsehoods of contemporary Democratic politics.

Well, that was fucking abusive.

You’re not wrong that Gore would have won if Nader voters had cast ballots for Gore, but you’re still ignoring several facts:

it really doesnt make Hillary supporters look very confident about her chances of winning when you’re already looking for ways to pin some blame on Bernie and his supporters for a November loss.

More like there’s a sub group of Bernie Bros who are incapable of handling even the slightest criticisms of Bernie and completely condescend to people who try to have an actual discussion about his stand.

This is a really crappy idea that has popped up recently that, like usual, flies in the face of demonstrated reality. Sanders has an incredible record of passing legislation that has earned him the nickname, “The Amendment King”. He is a prolific and canny legislator who is often able to push through his priorities
