I want to go just a little bit off-topic for a moment. My relationship with my sister is a little bit contentious whenever politics comes up. She didn’t watch the conventions, but I know that she’s very interested in fashion, so I asked her opinion of the two green dresses Melania wore.

This makes so much sense to me. I have been screwed over and gaslit by malignant narcissists and sociopaths, and after a while you start thinking differently as a means of self preservation. Keeping receipts becomes pretty important once you realize someone has continually been screwing you over and lying about it.

Point taken, but I’m going to disagree a little bit.

Fair but it was very possible she started keeping receipts or documenting after things got rocky in their friendship. It’s hard to forget those moments in a toxic friendship so sometimes it’s best to keep a log of them so you can prevent yourself from getting gaslighted later on.

The other option to consider is that the whole shitty Trump family has fucked over so many different people in so many different ways.

Melania may very well be a parasitic friend who just takes and takes. She comes off as a narcissistic sociopath here. But I also don’t trust anyone who keeps all the receipts on someone they considered a friend at the time.
