Hmmm...alternative theory:

Few people in their 20s are in those jobs. Those who are have been carefully vetted before they are allowed to do them.

You are making the argument that because a very few people can do remarkable things at a particular age that all the rest who have demonstrated no similar skills should be allowed access to similar equipment without having the same oversight? While it is fun to have certain toys and play with them without developing

One, you don’t have a right to drive a car at all, it’s a privilege. Two, You still wouldn’t lose your ‘right’, instead of an age limit though I would recommend a certain amount of training and more stirngent tests to drive high HP cars, RVs, SUVs, cars greater than a certain weight, etc.. instead of the free for all

Jesus was known for keeping company with more than one outcast from society.

She just ran in a grueling and ultimate devastating Presidential campaign. I’m willing to cut her some slack. Also people would definitely be playing the poor loser card and how dare she question the integrity of the election if she spoke out too much. She has to walk a very fine line.

One of my biggest fears in this ghastly horror movie we’re all now living in is that the LEOs and the military will not think twice about following illegal and traitorous orders. They seem to really like that faux-strong-daddy thing.

Let’s be clear that the protests and letters and calls and demonstrations helped here. Judges are DEFINITELY aware of public opinion in cases like these.

The article felt kind of Shakespearean- dude wants nothing more than love and respect, so much so he runs for President thinking that it’ll be the sure-fire way he’ll get love and respect. But upon becoming President, he finds himself neither loved or respected and is instead mainly alone, by himself, watching Cable

The fact that CBP is ignoring court orders is insane. If any of this is a sign of impending dictatorship that’s it. And it’s getting little coverage combed to the ban itself.

He’s doing so many shitty, evil things at once that I can’t figure out which one is supposed to be the distraction.

Let’s check in on the Trump administration after one week:

I hope some players kneel so fucking hard during the Super Bowl national anthem.

Odd to have a day where I feel the most proud and most embarrassed to be American at the same time. The order is ugly, and it’s not just Trump. But spontaneous street protests, lawyers donating their time, tens of millions donated to charities, etc., is beautiful.

It’s a good thing we have the National Security Council, filled with competent and informed people, to advise Trump about stuff like this.

I fully agree.

I disagree. We are in this mess because we have allowed casual racism, sexism, homophobia, xenophobia, and willful ignorance to pass unchallenged by family and friends. Our country is being destroyed as we speak. That’s more important than getting along at the holidays.
