Got started on Anime when Sci-fi channel would air the Streamline Pictures classics (Akira, Venus Wars, Robot Carnival, Project A-ko, etc). Helped that this was amazing stuff with great dubbing. While I still like anime, later I realized we tended to get the best stuff and not, uh, everything ;)
