I liked it, but only after thinking about it for a while.

I think the Costner one actually stole those characters from a brit TV show.

I maintain Snoke is the dark side of Luke’s personality he’s expelled. Don’t ask me why.

I don’t want it. It’s been done. I can’t really see how this can feel like a new thing anymore.

I actually think it would have worked if they set it up from the beginning, but yeah, this was fucking nonsense. It’s like the execs have the Bond equivalent of the “Picard Wheel”

This a million times. It pisses me off A LOT. Why ruining a franchise like this Ridley. WHY?!?

Noone cares about your stupid android.

Keep in mind, Marvel probably has a LOT more creative freedom in it’s movies. I’m really not sure if that’s the case with the shows.

Rebels doesn’t get enough viewers for Ezra to be Snoke, and I supremely doubt Disney wants to plan that far ahead to do that. I did kinda think that Snoke could have been the dark side Luke expelled from himself somehow, but I’m not sure that makes sense anymore.

I also think the sound design there, is pretty weird.

I don’t get this... I mean isn’t it set shortly after Pine Trek? And hasn’t the universe split off from the tng/kirk timeline after Spock went back in time?

Agreed. I started watching Trek at age 10, and it had much the same effect.

Yes. There is labour day after all.

Yeah, black cabs cost an amazingly high price in London making them practically unaffordable for most.

Doesn’t Roar Uthaug shoot a lot in masters?

So, they just drive around in a van...?

It would be hilarious if they could talk Owen into being dubbed though.

Has anyone mentioned how this kinda looks like a backdoor abe sabien (Hellboy) movie. I mean it looks v. visually similar to his origin.

No mentions for Person of Interest?

There was an active nod to the Hela/Thanos thing in the unworthy Thor, probably wasn’t, but couldn’t help but think it might be a nod to Infinity War. Doubt the movies care about what the comics are doing though.

I don’t think the Bran = Night king is stupid. It’s a creative theory, that with time, could be a well executed anddramatic twist. I’m pretty sure it has zero foreshadowing though in the books, so therefore isn’t true. I disagree it’s dumb though.
