It’s hard to get excited for a silent R8 when it’s replacing one of the most interesting n/a V10 engines still in production. Especially when it’ll probably be slower and have less range than a Tesla that seats 5 comfortably...

The TT is a hatchback...but then I’d say on the current market you’re much better off in a Supra. Better performance and dynamics, two more cylinders, and better looks (in my opinion) for the same price.

The LFA is the obvious comparison here, but the price made it unobtanium for most. This on the other hand...

True, but for the TT-S in particular, you could do better by buying a Golf R with the same engine, same hp rating, same chassis, more room, similar build quality, and similar weight, all for less money.

It’s kind of like what the offspring of the Supra and 86 would look like. The N/A engine, manual, dated interior, and price of the 86 meets the extra room and power of the Supra.
