I thought that when the ball dropped in Times Square on New Years Eve they actually dropped it and it shattered on the street. I was so sure that's what happened that I "remembered" seeing it on TV.

The Met is suggested donation because it's a public institution but I believe it was also supposed to be free based on the original land deal with the city. So, yeah, I save my money for the audio tour.

Too bad about the main building closing though. :(

Are you me? Over the years it's become apparent to me that even though my parents fight CONSTANTLY they are incredibly codependent and will never leave each other. I recently turned 30 and I'm trying to leave all of those bad behaviors behind in my own relationship—so far it's going pretty good!

All new first class stamps are forever stamps now. I like it because I thought the liberty bell ones were ugly but I didn't buy stamps enough to get cute ones. It's also smart because postage increases will go unnoticed now.

I also thought the Pac Man one was kind of cute!
