Now I wanna make an Audi commercial.

“I bought an Alfa Romeo Giulia for $250!” - A David Tracy article, probably

BREAKING: The average person doesn’t budget and keep adequate track of their finances.

For sale: Large tunneling machine

The person with the $175 Escort GT with a functional hood scoop made from a broken dust pan and dryer vent tube does not qualify for “dumbest shit”. This person is a hero.

Patrick... Come on... You’ve never had to pull such a trick before??

What kind of sociopath thinks trying to kill someone over a traffic infraction is equivalent to the traffic infraction?

Harmlessly passing someone in a no passing zone isn’t being an “asshole” . Trying to murder two people is.

It is a Ferrari. Just give it a couple of revs and let it burn on its own.

Can we start a petition to have the owner crushed and the car saved?

Italy does it right: just paint it up and use it as a police car.

Why are governments so obsessed with crushing cars? Why not just seize the thing and auction it off to someone in whatever market it might be legal, and pocket the proceeds? They’d make more money that way, and that’s pretty much all they care about anyway in these cases...

He’s a victim of dumb luck, that’s all. If you think about it, it was a pretty brilliant plan, really. Once he snuck the car into the country it would blend in with all the other LaFerraris on the street and no one would think twice about it.

I hope they film it... That would be a fairly unique thing to see.

Does this really measure reliability though? There’s no mention of major repairs or engine/tranny replacements. Anything can run for 200k miles if you throw enough money at it. Well anything except a Fiat anyway.

The aftermarket has a great solution for those who want more gauges:

In a pre-good-camera-phone-era, I took out the back seat of a Mazda 323 hatch, made a custom fiberglass enclosure, and put three Alpine 15s and a 1,500 watt bridged amp in there — hauling space be damned.

That is some serious dedication to quality reproduction...
