He really stretched the limits of that rating alright. And between the trippy possession scene and the puppet-looking demons, it was like he’d smuggled an Evil Dead film into the MCU.

Love and Thunder and Multiverse of Madness were good though. People kicked off because they shifted to a pulpier tone and/or had women in them, but that’s not the same as a decline in quality.

There’s something really pathetic about the need to make “adult” versions of kid shows. The need to monetize existing IP is a cancer that infects everything.

It seems like good sci-fi often (still) gets the short end of the stick. Archive 81 was also very promising and I really enjoyed the first season, only for Netflix to (predictably) axe it.

The Book of Boba Fett was so pointless that the show itself gave up and just turned into The Mandelorian halfway through.
